ClaroIdeas
ClaroIdeas is an easy to use, fresh visual software solution for assisting with research, planning, outlining, studying and presenting. ClaroIdeas can help users and groups capture their ideas, pictures, research notes, webpage links, audio and video files with more freedom, flexibility and creativity.
Creating idea maps using ClaroIdeas enables users to focus thoughts, organise concepts and include text notes, graphical and media content. Plan revision, reports, essays and presentation content in a more spontaneous but controlled manner with ClaroIdeas.
Idea maps allow a user to focus on bringing together thoughts and related content in various formats, and are a recognised way to maximise learning potential, improve problem-solving, enhance research and aid revision.
ClaroIdeas provides an alternative to linear formatting or structure, aiding memory and revision, and making it easier to create modifications and additions. Includes thousands of clipart graphics for a wide range of topics.
With ClaroIdeas, idea maps can be converted to linear structured Microsoft Word documents or PowerPoint presentations, allowing for further composition, presentation and publishing. Idea maps can be easily organised, re-organised, linked to other maps and content. Maps can also be turned into accessible PDF files or transferred to most smart phones.
ClaroIdeas Features
Integrated with ClaroCapture
Text, webpages, and images can be captured from anywhere with ClaroCapture, this information can be organised in ClaroIdeas, and then sent to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Autocreate
ClaroIdeas is an easy way to get lots of ideas down quickly and captured into individual nodes, which can be joined and moved, or nodes made that are children of the main idea, so a structure can be created quickly and easily.
Adding and Exporting
A node can have Notes, where content can be added – as much or as little as required – without cluttering up the main screen or making the nodes big and cumbersome. This text also appears when a map is exported to Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. Images can also be copied and pasted into Notes.
Documents, like Word documents, PDFs or webpages can be easily added to the structure and exported to Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.
Adding Audio
Audio can be recorded on any node, so thoughts can be spoken into a node for listening back to later. Audio will also be exported when exporting to Word or PowerPoint.

Overview
The outline Overview shows how the diagram works as a hierarchical list ie. what it will look like when sent to a Word document or PowerPoint, including the chapters, paragraphs and sections.
Image Bank
ClaroIdeas contains thousands of images that can be searched and used by typing or browsing. A background image can easily be added to the whole diagram.
Work Area
The Map Overview gives an instant glance of where the cursor is on the document or an overview of the diagram.
Editing Maps
Change the colour, shape, and font of any node or arrow. This allows differentiation between different sections of the diagram, or different kinds of node.
Map Layouts
Idea maps can be switched into different layouts with a single mouse click. Child nodes can be shown or hidden with a single click. Ideal for shrinking the diagram down to a more manageable high-level small size.
Integration with Dragon Dictation Software
ClaroIdeas has multiple shortcut keys so it is easy to move quickly and easily from node to node or use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to create Idea Maps.

Assistive
ClaroIdeas can help users and groups capture their ideas, pictures, research notes, webpage links, audio and video files with more freedom, flexibility and creativity.
Visual differentiation using colour and shape can help explain the structure and the information in the diagram: many people think visually rather than in text.
